@Foyer on the 2nd floor of the Main Building, during the lunch break on March 4th.
The Japanese tea ceremony, also known as "Chado" or "Sado", is a traditional ritual influenced by Zen Buddhism. In this ceremony, powdered green tea, or "matcha", is ceremonially prepared by a skilled practitioner and served to a small group of guests in a tranquil setting. The ceremony is not just about drinking tea, but is also an artistic experience that embodies the principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. It is a spiritual and aesthetic discipline for refinement of the self — a symbol of peace, harmony, and happiness.
Join us for a traditional tea ceremony where you'll have the opportunity to watch a skilled practitioner prepare tea. Enjoy the tea alongside simple snacks provided for your pleasure. Each ceremony lasts approximately 5 minutes. To maintain an intimate setting, we limit each session to a maximum of 20 participants. Multiple ceremonies will be held throughout the lunch break on March 4th, offering several chances to partake in this traditional practice.
